Uncle Art, Transmogrified |
In October of 1997, Beezwax Records began quietly and slowly building a reputation for remarkable quality in
brass, jazz, and blues; a level of quality that won’t let the quest for growth hamper
the groove. To that end, Beezwax was born with a peculiar, built-in
safeguard against that kind of success: each and every Beezwax CD to date
has been hand-stamped with a serial number,
date-stamped according to the day it was assembled, embossed, personalized
with the CD owner’s name (whenever possible), hand assembled, and
registered into a database that began on October 31, 1997: The day
Uncle Art, "Transmogrified" launched. Call it crazy or call it brilliant, the Beezwax Records approach has ensured that everyone who is touched by the music knows they are enjoying to a work of art, made in the traditional manner, just as the label’s slogan says: "One of a kind . . . . One at a time." Here is a list of Beezwax album releases thus far: BW1132A Bill Boris, Hold Back Click here for a list of musicians whose artistry may be heard on a Beezwax Record. Since March of 2018, Beezwax Records has been temporarily set aside, pending future plans. Would you like to know when Beezwax Records are on the market once again? Then please drop us a line. Thank you.
